Members have their own private bedrooms and access to the entire 3 story building with 3 baths, 3 kitchens, 3 communal areas and a private garden.

The Metta Sanctuary is a Holistic, Intentional, Vegan Housing Community with 2 townhouses in Bed Stuy, Brooklyn, NYC. Both Historic Brownstones were built in 1899 and are located on tree-lined streets, each featuring 3 full floors with original early century detail, high ceilings, 4-6 fire places, 7-8 private bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, 2-3 kitchens, 2-3 communal spaces, brick walls, hardwood floors, clawfoot bath tubs, deep European bath tubs, mosaic tiles, sky lights, chandeliers, wood shutters, large windows boasting an abundance of light, brand new french style windows, charming front yards and private gardens with trees that can be used for sustainable organic produce and vegetable farming by all house members.

The house comes fully furnished with beautiful brand new furniture, super comfy Green Tea and LinenSpa beds, cruelty-free pillows & comforters, linens, iron, iron board, washer, dryer, a library with conscious and plant-based books/magazines/newspapers, and more.

The kitchens come fully stocked with an oven, stove, farmhouse sink, dishwasher, fridge, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, blender, plates, bowls, mugs, glasses, silverware, glassware, pots, pans and an exploration of an organic interior farming garden is underway.

Couples are welcomed with a monthly addition of $300 per room.

All rescued compatible animals regardless of size and breed are VIPs in this home! :)

10 minute walk to the A/C Train @Utica, J/Z Train @Gates and J Train @Halsey.

This is an ideal home for non-vegans who are looking to transition to a vegan lifestyle and currently lack the proper support and environment.
